First aid measures
Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and thoroughly rinse the skin with soap and water.
Eye contact: Lift the eyelids and rinse with flowing water or physiological saline. Seek medical attention.
Inhalation: Quickly remove from the scene to a place with fresh air. Maintain airway patency. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If breathing stops, immediately perform artificial respiration. Seek medical attention.
Ingestion: Drink plenty of warm water to induce vomiting. Seek medical attention.
Firefighting measures
Harmful combustion products: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen bromide.
Fire extinguishing method: Spray water to cool the container, and if possible, move the container from the fire scene to an open area.
Extinguishing agent: fog water, foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide, sand.
Leakage emergency response
Quickly evacuate personnel from the contaminated area to a safe area, isolate them, and strictly restrict entry and exit. Cut off the fire source. It is recommended that emergency personnel wear self-contained positive pressure respirators and protective clothing. Cut off the source of leakage as much as possible. Prevent flow into restricted spaces such as sewers and drainage ditches.
Minor leakage: Absorb or absorb with sand or other non combustible materials. It can also be brushed with lotion made of incombustible dispersant, and the washing solution is diluted and discharged into the wastewater system.
Large amount of leakage: Build embankments or dig pits for containment. Cover with foam to reduce steam disaster. Transfer to a tank truck or dedicated collector using an explosion-proof pump, recycle or transport to a waste disposal site for disposal.
Operation, disposal and storage
1. Operation precautions
Closed operation, local ventilation. Operators must undergo specialized training and strictly adhere to operating procedures. It is recommended that operators wear a self-priming filter type gas mask (half face mask), chemical safety goggles, anti venom penetration work clothes, and rubber oil resistant gloves. Stay away from sparks and heat sources, and smoking is strictly prohibited in the workplace. Use explosion-proof ventilation systems and equipment. Prevent steam leakage into the workplace air. Avoid contact with oxidants. Filling should control the flow rate to prevent static electricity accumulation. When handling, it is important to load and unload with care to prevent damage to the packaging and containers. Equip corresponding types and quantities of fire-fighting equipment and emergency response equipment for leaks. Empty containers may have residual harmful substances.
2. Storage precautions
Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Stay away from sparks and heat sources. Keep the container sealed. It should be stored separately from oxidants and avoid mixing. Adopting explosion-proof lighting and ventilation facilities. Prohibit the use of mechanical equipment and tools that are prone to generating sparks. The storage area should be equipped with emergency response equipment for leaks and appropriate containment materials.
